The Nameks
The Nameks were the race of people from the planet Namek. They have green skin and antennas
entending from their foreheads. They are the creators of the dragonballs and are mostly
benevolent(except Piccolo, who isn't afraid to let you know where he's coming from). They
are more like plants that people. They survive on water alone. The main Nameks are Piccolo,
Kami-sama, Master Guru, Nail, Dende, and Piccolo Daimon. Daimon(evil) and Kami-sama(good)
used to be the same person, but they split apart because of their "differences". Daimon's
offspring was the main Piccolo. Because of this, Kami and Piccolo share a spiritual link
and if one dies, they both die. There are two kinds of Nameks in Dragonball Z. Fighters
and healers. The Nameks also have the ability to fuse with each other and become a more powerful
character. They can also make copies of themselves and fight with them. Among the main Nameks,
Master Guru was the eldest. He could unleash a fighter's true power. He was a healer like Dende,
the youngest of the bunch. Piccolo, Kami-sama, Nail, and Piccolo Daimon were among the fighers.
During the Frieza saga, Piccolo fused with Nail and became a sort of super Piccolo. Eventually,
Piccolo rejoined with Kami-sama and became Kamiccolo. Kami-sama serves as the guardian of the Earth
and can teleport between the two dimensions(life, afterlife). Piccolo was the most powerful Namek
and his power level rivaled the Super Saiyans.
