Story
Dragonball Z picks up where the first Dragonball left off. The story focuses on Goku just as in
the first Dragonball. The Z series really focuses more on the other characters than the first
Dragonball. The Dragonball heroes meet about five major villians throughout the Z series, each
more powerful than the one before. These villians were Raditz, Vegeta, Freeza, Cell, and Majin
Buu. The most interesting thing, however, is not the actual fighting, but the relationship
between the characters. Enemies become friends, friends become enemies, and new characters come
onto the scene as offspring of the other major characters. Some characters die but they get
wished backed to life by their friends using the dragonballs. These characters receive training
while in the "next dimension" and come back stronger than they were before they died. This
combined with a little humor makes Dragonball Z the great anime that it is.
